Adirondack Interpretive Center
AIC building is now open Saturday and Sunday 9am - 4pm
The Rich Lake Trail is open 7-days a week from dawn until dusk.
Due to 2023 flooding trail access is limited to Rich Lake Trail and a section of Peninsula Trail. The trails are relatively level with numerous lookouts and offer something for everyone. Mountains, wetlands and water provide many opportunities for viewing wildlife. Ask for maps at the Interpretive Center.
The AIC is part of SUNY ESF’s Newcomb Campus and serves thousands of visitors, area residents and program participants with outstanding learning opportunities in the heart of the Adirondack Park – New York’s unique natural, cultural and recreational resource.
