Blue Hedges on the Hudson
Enjoy this 4.8-mile out-and-back trail near Minerva, New York. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 58 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding and hiking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are March through October. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
The trail begins from Northwoods Club Road and passes along the shores of Huntley Pond. Continue through the woods to the edge of the valley carved out by the Hudson River. From here you can hike down to the river and a sandy beach. In the summer months white water rafters can be spotted floating down the river.
